Finally found an insect today! This ladybug was resting on our gate. I picked her up on a leafy taxi and transferred her to our bougainvillea studio. I really liked how the pinkish color of the flowers complimented her red color. Sadly she was a bit shy, as she kept turning her back toward me and hiding in the petals. She never flew away so I'm guessing she was hurt and her insect instincts were telling her to avoid the nut with the camera. haha. In any case after a bit of poking (and begging) she turned around very briefly for this photo. Then I let her enjoy her cozy hotel in peace :)
