One of my friends treated me to an awesome BBQ place called Famous Dave's in the city of Long Beach. Afterward, we hung around the pier for a little while and, of course, I grabbed my camera for some photos. The Long Beach lighthouse always catches my attention because looks very cool at night with its colors. Didn't have my tripod with me, so I made do with the railing of the pier and placed my camera on top of it. It was tough because some kid's were playing close by, which slightly rocked the pier. It took a bit of patience and time but was happy with the way the lights came out. :)
@nanderson - Thanks a ton Nancy! Famous Dave's is awesome isn't it? I had their southwest rib tips and they were amazing!! This is one of my favorite spots in Long Beach so tripod or not, I was gonna get the shot. :)
@jan20 - Thank you Jan! I love making the twinkling lights look like stars. I've notice that apertures set to f-16 and higher, especially f-22, do a great job at making lightflares!
