Well this is the last photo in my Month of Toys theme. As you can probably tell, I had a blast coming up with these ideas, actually executing them in camera, and them sharing them with all of you. Toy Photography is one of my favorite types of photography. It has this special way of bringing out the kid in me (and gave me an excuse to play with some of my old toys again). Haha. Whether by looking at my photos or creating your own toy shots, hope my theme gave you a chance to use your imagination as well! :)
The photo you see here is a nod to the first instance of Toy Photography I posted in my 365 project ( http://365project.org/cjphoto/365/2011-03-09 ). In fact, that may be the first creative toy photo I ever took! In any case, I still have other ideas in my head and hope to share them with you as my project continues.
P.S. I don't know why my old toys love to steal my cookies... :)
Great side lighting. I've enjoyed your toy themes, as a matter of fact, my daughter started cleaning out her old toys and I told her we have to box them up so I can try some of these shots out. Very nice work!
@gigiflower -Thank you Sam! It goes with out saying that it was totally fun to be creative with these photos. No particular theme for September as I haven't had the time to come up with any ideas but I think I'll try another theme in October.
@swilde - It was a fun month! So happy you enjoyed it Sue. Thanks!
@gilbertwood - Thank you Denise!! It was enjoyable trying to replicate an old photo with my improved skills.
@newbank - Haha, cookies like these brings out the thief in us!
@kt8ird - Thanks Kate! That's a great opportunity to get some toy shots. Plus since she's boxing them up, the photos may end up being great keepsakes when your daughter is older.
@briggsy - Haha, the month just flew by with this theme! Thanks very much David for this and all your recent comments too. Plus happy you enjoyed the theme!
@julie - Thanks Julie! That means I made improvement! Although I think the colorful M&M cookies really makes this one stand apart from the first. And thanks for all you recent comments, I read each and every one of them. :)
