(Day 250) - Rivers & Waterfalls

My Aqua October didn't feel complete without trying out a 'smooth river' capture. Therefore I went to Sky Park, which is a small park with a river and small waterfalls surrounding some office buildings. It's a nice, peaceful place for those working long hours in those offices to get some fresh air as well as a photographer's paradise. There were so many great spots but this area kept my attention the most. So peaceful. :)

Although I did find some more cool waterfalls to shoot:

This was one of my first time using a long exposure to shoot a river so I'll try and practice it some more to get even better 'smoothness'. :)
so beautiful and peaceful. one might even forget to go back to work! I think the smoothness is very good

Gorgeous, love how the fall is surrounded by all the green. Great find.

@ladygator - Thanks Nancy, I never thought about the fall surrounded by all the green, but you're right! We have a lot of evergreen trees in Cali so it's nice to see this mix in the fall.

@gilbertwood - It was, and such a relaxing place to shoot. The other people (and squirrels) in the area were really friendly and relaxed too.

@annika82 -Thank you Annika! It's actually really simple but a tripod definitely helps and then use a long shutter speed, like 1 second, and you should have it made. :)

@cruiser - So true! I actually took a moment or two and just watched it to enjoy the beauty. Thanks for the kind comment Chris.
