Earlier in the week, created a selective color photo of a pink periwinkle and only left the pink color in the droplet and leaves. Today I wanted to try something totally outlandish!
Took a white periwinkle along with my water dropper and placed water drops of different sizes on the petals. Then in Lightroom, I meticulously painted each water drop the desired colors (since the subject is white, it was very easy to manipulate it's colors with Lightroom's adjustment brush). Was having such a blast with the results, that I decided to paint the tips of the petals and the center too! The periwinkle never looked so good. :)
