We made it to the city of Big Bear today for our vacation. It's a small city located in the San Bernardino Mountains of California. Unlike L.A., there are trees everywhere, especially pine trees. Naturally, the one you see here caught my eye! It either split or grew up very close together. Even the branches are growing in opposite directions! ◕‿◕
Thanks a ton for all the awesome comments on yesterday's flowers! Really glad to know that it was an effect capture. Because of my vacation, my comments may be a bit limited while I'm in Big Bear. Please 'bear' with me. Haha.
Great pov. I was in NorCal for 7.5 years but didn't make it down to SoCal while living there. Farthest south we got was Monterey or Yosemite. Which is farther south? Lovely state CA! It was hard to leave!
@amandal - Yes CA has so many beautiful places! SOmetimes you forget when living in the city. Yosemite is farther south than Monterey. Never been to Monterey but Yosemite is breathtakingly beautiful.
@cruiser - Thank you very much Chris! Ironically, it is extremely rare to see a bear in Big Bear...unless it's at the rescue zoo, which is where we saw some.
