(Day 145) - Softness

Been trying to focus on how the light and the amount of light I let into the camera effects my high-key photos. Really like how soft and mysterious it makes some subjects appear. As always, I thank you guys so much for all the kind words on my images. ◕‿◕
Incredible!

I having been studying every high key shot you're doing with fascination. So bold. I tried a queen anne's lace flower in this style the other day, but just couldn't quite bring myself to go this far (as I discovered after I got home...)

Thank you all very much! Black & white is not really my passion but adding in the high-key flare is really fun to experiment with, so I'm glad to know that its effective.

@spooling - Thanks Sheryl! What I did was set-up the dandelion against a white background. I also overexposed the shot by letting in more light which results in the high-key effect. It takes a bit experimenting and quite a few shots to see how much light will make an appealing capture.

@francoise - Thank you Francoise!! White on white and at the same time adding in high-key overexposure is not easy at all but I found that I just have to keep playing with the light and then in post-production experiment with the contrast. In any case, you do very well with your black and whites and you know how to capture patterns so well. I still gotta work on that!
