Probably because nobody knows what flavor they are. I've got a bag of sour gummy bears and the green are strawberry flavor. Why would you associate green and strawberry?
I always think of the green ones as being lime flavored which is not so popular. But you know that great philosopher of Sesame Street, Kermit the Frog, said it best, "It's not easy being green". Fun shot!
