Now that spring is here, I was hoping to find some ladybugs hustling and bustling around our bougainvillea flowers. Sadly, none were to be found. Maybe my giant ladybug friend here scared them away. She was a great model though and seems to really love all the new fresh flowers! :)
How lucky you are to have Bougainvillea in your garden. This ladybug goes very nicely with them too. I don't think I've ever seen red ones before. An excellent image.
@grammyn - Thank you Katy! Yes, red ones are gorgeous! I've heard bougainvilleas come in about 18 main colors with about 80 different variations of the same color! I've only seen red and purple in LA garden stores but have seen orange and white ones around the neighborhood.
