(Day 219) - Eventuality

Every month Fred observes a flower that matches the color of my current theme. He couldn't find any brown flowers in our neighborhood. However, after finding this dried rose, Fred came to the realization that every flower becomes brown eventually. That's deep, man...uh...frog. :)
I don't know how you have managed to make him look sad about it but he does. The circle of life...even for flowers.

It's so hard being green...but in this case, better green than brown! Vignette effect in the lighting gives so much to this mournful shot!, as do, of course, the fallen petals.

@grammyn @granagringa @kwind @julie @rosiekerr @joysabin @lynne5477 @alinz @dibzgreasley @cruiser @sabinak @domenicododaro @stiggle

Thanks so much you guys for all the comments and for helping Fred to make the Pop Page.

A few of you mentioned Fred's sadder than normal look so thought I'd mention some specific things I did to give him this expression. Tilting his head & his eyes downward and using his left hand to block the slight smile he naturally has really helped. Add to that the lower saturation in color and we have a recipe for a glum frog.

I love the brown tone to this picture and the dried out flower and Fred's expression. Thanks for explaining how you made him look so pensive. I clicked on your Fred tag, they are all such great pictures Chris!
