Have no idea what this is but the shape and color were mesmerizing. It kind of looks like a little explosion to me. You can even see a little ant touring the center. Maybe it feels like a contemporary art museum to him. :)
Before I forget, thanks so much for all the recent comments on the Spotlight Flower & the Heartwarming Clover. I don't feel that pictures of nature are my strong suit but your remarks always give me more confidence. I will be happy to work on to something new for July though. :P
@grammyn - I was going to say it looked like a firecracker but wasn't quite sure if others would see it see it too! Haha. Glad to know ya'll see the explosive firecracker too! @joysabin They don't even let touch contemporary art at some museums. Haha. A privilege indeed.
I have no idea what it is either, but it sure has a very distinct appearance! Yes, explosion or firecracker- both terms describe it very well. Good shot!
