(Day 56) - Shellshocked

Most of the snails around here have dark brown shells. CJ was surprised to find this shell of a much lighter color. Maybe the surrounding sand altered it. It was completely abandoned. Perhaps the former resident thought it was too drab but it looked awesome to us. 😊🐌
Ha ha... love the title. Nice find, CJ!

great title and find - I think that the shells become paler when they are abandoned - something to do with the lack of contents - I love the different lenses CJ has for his camera

Now that I've noticed CJ's fashion, it is just as interesting as the shot!
What a great find. Love the title.

@shannejw - Thanks Shanne! I didn't think about it becoming paler when abandoned but that would make sense.

@sunnygirl - Thanks Mallory! Finding the right clothes for each shot can take almost as much time as setting up the shot. Although this shot was an exception...it took FOREVER to balance CJ and make him bend downward without him falling over.

Wonderful image of CJ and the shell. All your hard work pays off in the believablility of each photo. I keep forgetting CJ isn't real (SHHH!)
