This Is for the Birds

Today, CJ the Legographer is on a recreated set of Hitchcock's The Birds. As a kid, this film frightened me so much. While today some of the outdated scenes can be quite comical, it still give me chills watching the birds attack everyone.

Hitchcock was eccentric, to say the least, but I love nearly every one of his films. They do a great disservice to birds, however!! Super fun image

It’s an awesome scene, as in the movie when everything is flooded with birds. maybe in color it would be a little less scary.

Good advice for CJ! He does look a bit stressed in this photo! My favorite part is you made it black and white just like the film! Your attention to detail is phenomenal

Yikes! I saw a clip or part of a scene- maybe even an advertisement back in the day and knew in an instant it was not a film I should see! Too scary. So, do you actually have that many Lego parrots or was someone very busy with multiplicity shots today?

@olivetreeann - Hahaha, you caught me. Didn't have time to purchase more parrots so yep this shot was done with multiplicity. It was fun seeing how more and more birds were appearing as I merged things together....creepy at the same time though

Hitch would be proud of you and CJ. A fabulous tribute to his classic. I too was always scared to watch the film.
