So nice that such a beautiful bird showed up at your beautiful bird feeder! I've never seen a bird feeder this lovely except in your yard -- is it glass? You're just full of interesting bird feeders in your yard!

@jyokota Thank You! Yes, it's glass. I've had it for a long time and the color has faded. I have another glass one that is flat and has a butterfly painted inside it. They aren't very expensive. I found one the flat one at Walmart.

! I must see if I can find one online. Now that I think we are all home for at least a year, I'm thinking this is the year I buy more bird feeders and even a squirrel feeder, Any more tips?

@jyokota Yes! It's beautiful! You will love it! I looked at the erasers. They are so cool! I want some of the little animals for myself.

@jyokota I like to have a variety of bird food. Woodpeckers love suet and bird blocks. Cardinals, chickadees, and Tufted Titmice love sunflower seeds. Smaller birds like wild bird seed mix, because it has smaller pieces. I love watching my birds! I saw my first hummingbird of the season yesterday. I have my feeders up and I'm hoping for hummingbird pics soon.

I ordered that glass feeder -- it is now backordered (Since yesterday!) but I'll have it May 5. And then to figure out how to hang it. My husband used to order "hot meats" to keep the squirrels out? and I think it was a blend of seeds. I've never bought suets before and we can't go to garden stores -- looks like until June -- so I'll look online. I have to figure out how to feed my squirrels in a different place than the birds. It seems you have big seeds in yours -- what do you recommend I order for mine?
