Beautiful shot of the butterfly - and hooray for the rain. Our shots nearly matched again (check mine from yesterday) - I noticed we do that often - must be nearly identical zones for the wildlife.
Yay! Even the butterflies are rejoicing! We had a few drops overnight, but it'g going to take more than that to bring my crunchy brown grass back to green. fave!
@russianblue I am with Kass. I was thinking the other day, when I was taking photos, exactly how does this field where you shoot pics look, do you just wade through it, and why aren't you getting horrible bug bites and chiggers? Haha Take a pic of that field!
@espyetta If we weren't in a drought, I would be wading high grass. The field is dry, crunchy grass. I haven't had a chigger or mosquito bite me in weeks. I'm taking pics in a spot next to the woods that has clover and Queen Anne's Lace. The clovers are dying. We are supposed to get more rain on Monday. I'm hoping things will start growing again.
Thanks for telling us what this is in your post to @rovb. Really lovely colors you are so lucky you have so many butterflies. Congrats on the PP with this and keep 'em comin'.
