I was so tired driving home from work that it briefly crossed my mind to post a pic I had already taken. Once I got home, I decided to try to find a pic. I saw my two friends, Red and Woody. Red let me get close to him on the feeder, but he wouldn't stay in the tree long enough for a pic. Woody didn't fly away, but he went to the top of one of the maples. So, even though I was going to try to not post pics of the birds on the feeder, this was the best of the lot.
Thank you so much for your sweet comments on Lorelei's birthday pics! She is such a joy! :0)
Red is bold and beautiful! Am getting ready to move the deck feeder to the yard and put up the hummingbird feeder. Will miss having them so close, but .... choices. Just another of the choices I must make this week. Hummingbirds... or... no definitely hummingbirds!
@swguevin I can't wait for the hummingbirds! Last year, my husband built a trellis for my feeders. We had a storm soon after the hummingbirds were gone and the wind blew it down and ruined it. Thankfully, my feeders didn't break. He's going to build me a new one. It will be awhile, before they will be back here. The hummers are so much fun! :0)
