Another view of Uluru... this mountain is "addictive" .....I can't be bored of it !
We have walked around by day, we will return to see the sunset this evening and will wake up at 4 to see the sunrise.
We have proudly signed in a book that we didn't climb Uluru, because we wanted to be respectful with the Anangue who believe this is a sacred mountain....I do believe it too, this place is magical !
Sorry for the early download but I won't have Internet connection tomorrow and don't know if I will be able to connect in the future days... We are flying to Cairns then : the big barrier of reef.
wow beautiful shot! the sunset and sunrise are beautiful overthere! i went there last year and saw a double rainbow, due to the rain that was falling and made the tempreture a lot nicer :P Have so much fun at the great barrier reef! it's gorgeous as well!! and if your in cairns make sure to do a trip to the rainforest, so gorgeous overthere!
@cocobella - I was spellbound when I visited the Rock last year. It was cold and wet and there were waterfalls cascading off the mountain. It was enchanting!
@bobfoto I would love to see that ! It was so hot ( we had 47 degrees the first days ...) there was absoluty no trace of water !
Next time we will come in winter !
The problem with this shot is I think there are no monitors in existance wide enough do it justice! You've done a good job positioning the car & the road within the panorama. Fav'ed
