We have spent 2-3 days in the rainforest...a wooden cabin in the Daintree National park, a fantastic place where the forest touchs the beach....peaceful walks on the beach very early in the morning, refreshing forest after....
The sand is very particular : it litteraly sparkels !
It's so beautiful up there. We went on our honeymoon at Port Douglas, just south of the Daintree. So we drove up there and went on a river cruise to see crocodiles and other creatures. It's such an amazing area.
@ozziehoffy we are now in Port Douglas for our 4 last days, enjoying the luxury of the Sheraton ;) ( they've got an amazing "triple-pool"), we still have enough time to explore the area ...I will be sad to leave ...
@cocobella Ooh nice! We stayed at the Novotel. Just about right on the beach. There's a pub that has great food just near there too. Not sure what it was called, but really yummy food.
Love the simplicity of this capture. Fits the mood one should be in on a trip liked this. Not worrying about the complexities of life, but just simply enjoy each moment as they come.
