My daughter Léa has finished her personal project.
She worked late late yesterday night...
Here her sister Alix, who has accepted to wear "the" dress ( all done with aluminium pop tabs).
incredible work...I'm proud of her !
Tonight there'll be a show at her school, all the grades 10 students will present their projects, she was a bit nervous to face the teachers, the parents and all her friends....but super-mummy-me told her she has done a wonderful job, and worked hard, so everything 's going to be all right !

Wow...your daughter did an amazing job....so creative, and the dress looks incredible.....I think we'll be seeing her on the equivalent of Project Runway when she's older :-)
The dress looks like quite a work of art to me, especially the tbs dangling from the hem as trim. Your collage is just beautiful. I think Lea should be very proud of her achievement!
@jbucovetsky she first bent them (45degres) and then cut to open the above part, she can tie them one to another .... She wanted to use only pop tabs, no other material !
@dclics merci beaucoup, mais meme pas froid ! l'aluminium prend la temperature du corps qui l'accueille ;) J'ai été surprise par le coté facile à porter : c'est super léger et doux...elle a eu un joli succès hier lors de sa presentation, son projet est dans le top 3 des meilleurs, sur une centaine, elle était sur un nuage ;)
Wow! It turned out fantastic! (and you look like sisters) I trust the school fashion show went really well and proud Mom was taking lots of pictures. Question: who drank all the pop to get the cans to get the tabs?
She made it and it was a success !!
We just back from the show and it was a success, Lea received "bravo and hura" , compliments from teachers, parents and friends.... She should receive an excellent grade :))
