Actually no, that’s not a mushroom, it’s the moon in its 3/4 phase, shot from my back garden. The atmosphere is heavy with humidity, a constant type of foggy haze high up in the sky. No surprise that there have been quite a few hurricane storms in our area this summer.

Thank you, my friend! I know that this year I'm haphazard with my camera; I try and fight the daily low mojo, but I find that resisting and forcing myself merely makes it worse. I end up taking dumb stupid photos just because I have to take a photo.
So now I just go with the flow; I take the camera out when I really feel like it.
It always fascinates me to see a moon shot from the other side of the world. The pock marks, dark spots and stripes are all in a different position! Nicely captured.
