Handsome is in the genes

OK, so I didn't take this photo (I just fixed it up a bit in PS), but I was sent a whole heap of photos of my late husband's ancestors this week.
This photo of James McEwin was taken in the late 1800s.
It was so amazing to see the similarities between my husband, children and family and these Scottish blokes.
So interesting to look at these old photos and trace the similarities that are still showing up in later generations. Yes, a handsome man indeed.

By the way, Amanda, any hints on propogating Corymbias from seed? My husband loves growing natives from seed; put some gumnuts in a paper bag on top of the fridge for warmth and they seem to have opened; but maybe you have another easier method?

They should open up as they dry out if you leave them in a sunny spot. I've always grown the seed just fine in sharp sand.
