Getting less and less is the redundant steel works. It’s being taken down bit by bit and on the ground in a huge heap is a pile of rusting metal work. Buildings are disappearing slowly, soon it will just be a piece of empty bare ground. I will miss it when it’s gone, I have known it’s outline on the coast all my life and although it may seem ugly it’s an iconic landmark for Redcar.

Thank you for all your lovely comments and favs all are appreciated and welcome.
Always a good subject for the photographer ! Love the rectangular shapes and the rusty cylindrical pipes - So much to see when one looks closely ! And it does pop on black - fav
I can understand your feeling. It is always sad to see something you have been used to for all your life disappearing. Beautiful shot and composition. Nice rusty textures.
