My daughter dropped off a lovely bouquet of chrysanthemums, iris and gerbera this afternoon because she can’t come over when I go into hospital next week. Social distancing and lockdown there is not a chance of me seeing even hubby while I am in hospital, I have to do it all by myself again, it’s very lonely when you are in a room by yourself.

A super colourful close-up. It isn't easy waiting for surgery, especially when you can't have visitors while in hospital, but at least today we have the technology to keep in touch with the outside world.
