I’ve just tried for the first time, I really enjoyed the freedom of the line and hap -hazards watercolours. I’m going to do more, the idea is to get a quick artists interpretation of an urban scene, caught in a few minutes. This took me 45 mins from a photo. I will have to find my style, but I love the freedom of nothing being exact and no worry about mistakes. I do hope to get better along the way.

I like the freestyle sketching (which you appear to me to be quite good at) and painting. This puts me in mind of a movie I watched called "Louise by the Shore" which is a poignant tale of an older woman who got left behind when all the summer visitors left a beach community and she lived in a hut like this with a stray dog who befriended her.
