Just a photo taken in the mellow light yesterday. It was very clear and bright and this steam flume took my eye. The tall building used to have the letters ICI on the side, that was a long time ago, now it belongs to another company. This is near Seal Sands.

What an iconic shot, even beautiful! Peter remembers visiting this site when we lived in Eaglesliffe. He worked for IBM but was based at ICI Billingham.
Lovely industrial scene. When my daughter was small, she saw smoke emerging from a building like this and said 'Oh look Mum a cloud making machine' So we always call them cloud making machines now, ha ha.
