Lapwing

A welcome visitor to our moorland tops, they come to breed and enjoy our terrible weather! I was lucky enough to see a pair while we were traveling one of the quieter Moortop country roads. They are fantastic ariel acrobats, sometimes we are lucky enough to catch a display. This day was a quieter one.
