One of my two most favourite bluebell spots. This was taken this afternoon at Bilsdale. At long last they are flowering beneath the trees. I've checked every week and today they're at their best. This bit of woodland is on a slope and they look like a waterfall of blue-grey coming down the hill.so pleased I caught them at long last.

They are still coming out under the trees here but the open ground ones have been full out for a few weeks. It's the timing, you can miss them at their best if you leave it a few days, but I was lucky this year. :-))
