Magnuson Park is also known as Naval Air Station (NAS) Seattle in the US National Register of Historic Places. It was used as a facility to train naval aviators during World War II and was deactivated in 1970. The building on the right is Building 5 and is now home to an art gallery for the School of Art of the University of Washington.
