if you enlarge and look closely you will see the scary, narrow, winding road we went up to go over the pass. Barely enough room to pass another car, with gradients up to 1 in 4
Ha ha, super shot. I agree they are scary, we lived with roads like this until we came to Australia 25 years ago. Can you imagine what a difference it made back then when we saw the wide roads in Melbourne where we lived for 6 years.
@onewing you would have noticed such a big difference in the roads. We took visitors from England on the outback roads of Sth Australia and they couldnt get over the width an straightness of them and kept saying where are all the cars? :)
Cool shot! When I first saw it, I thought it was a close up of a wave of green liquid. Just for a nanosecond. That's a wild drive. I love all the stone walls.
