for my 365 photo for Year 2 I thought I would make a collage of just a few photos of our farm in the South East of South Australia. Whilst our home has been in the city we have loved being part of the 'bush' here for over 20 years and it will be sad to let it go. It has been sold to younger farmers who we hope will love it as much as we have.
Great that you have shared this. My husband and i started farming 25 years ago and I am still nostalgic about the years we toiled and developed the farm. But there are phases of life that cannot be forever!
I think it's hard to say good-bye to something special like this. But yes, much easier when it goes to someone you know will take good care of it. That's how we felt about selling our old car! I think it will always be a part of you, and you will always be able to visit it in your memories and with pictures. Looks like a lovely place.
