"Les Braves" Omaha Beach by cruiser

"Les Braves" Omaha Beach

we visited the beaches of Normandy. Omaha Beach was the code name for one of the five sectors of Allied invasion of German occupied France during World War 2. This modern memorial is a tribute the courage and sacrifices of the Allied Forces. It is very striking, particularly at low tide
What a neat memorial, and great capture of it.
