we walked for hours around Amsterdam and then took a ride on a canal boat for another perspective. Took so many photos and hope to share a few more later - perhaps when I am home and recovering from jetlag :(

Fav! There is nothing quite like Edam or Gouda cheese. I used to work at the KLM ticket office back when there was one in Cleveland, and they sent us each a huge ball of Edam or Gouda every Christmas. Your trip sounds so exciting. Just enjoy yourself and don't worry about us ;-) Take your time.

@cimes1 thanks for the fav Carole. How nice to receive a big cheese like that for Christmas. I would like to have bought one but couldnt fit it in my luggage and dont know if I could even get it into Australia.
