heeelp!

with the winter rains and cold weather I have not been inclined to mow the "lawn" and now its been taken over by the Soursobs. Pretty though arent they.

I think they're what we call Oxalis...pretty enough, but very invasive! I see that visiting 365 is a nice alternative to mowing (on ANY given day!)

Looks to me that leaving the grass to grow is a lovely idea. The bee seems to think so too.

They are pretty!! I love yellow flowers and I won't let my husband mow the yard for the first time until all my dandelions have puffed out!! Then he can't mow again until all my daisies have bloomed and after that he can mow all he wants!! I say that, because he took my mowing job away from me! I love to mow the grass!! If I had these beautiful flowers blooming I would mow for a while either!! FAV!

PS. There's a honey bee in one of the flowers and you can't mow down a honey bee!!! LOL

Yes they are. We call these English grass - probably because it was introduced to our Island by the English during colonial times.
