I was out with my 97 year old friend yesterday for a morning coffee. As the weather was so wild we had to find a coffee shop where she didnt have to walk through the wind and rain. This is one of my old favourites. The walls are covered with tributes to Marilyn Munroe. Posters, newspaper cuttings and figurines. This large mural covers one of the walls so I sneakily took a pic of it that included these two women sharing time together.
@olivetreeann yes Ann, my friend Pauline is my role model. She is so interested in life and always positive. Her brain is still sharp and she hardly ever wears her glasses. A wonderful friend too.
@happypat mostly women out drinking coffee during the week Pat. The mural has a few signatures on it but I think they are all "local celebrities" of some sort. Its on a street that leads straight down to the beach and is filled with interesting shops and cafes.
