today we drove around our farm (1100 acres) for the last time. We have so many wondeful memories from the last 20 years

Such a big change and it must have been as Emilie said, a bittersweet visit. It looks like a beautiful property. I'm glad you have good memories from it. No one can ever take those away. Nice collage.

thankyou so much everyone for your caring and encouraging comments. We have very happy memories of our 20 years spent part time at the farm with family and friends. My husband put his heart and soul into his farming venture and it was hard to let go but we can now look forward to giving our home here in Adelaide some much needed TLC and the new owners of the farm are a young family with lots of enthusiasm. They will be turning it into a stud sheep farm and we wish them the best of luck

@huvesaker the farm has never been our main home. We have lived in Adelaide for nearly 40 years. We are both retired but over the 20 years that we have had the farm we have had many holidays there and my husband also spent much time there developing a fresh water crayfish project and cropping and grazing.
