but the seagulls were so demanding as we sat and ate our sweet potato chips that I thought I would use it for a photo opportunity. Hope he liked the garlic aiolie.
Great capture, I love their characters. Like I always say every creature is only trying to survive. At my workplace we feed Samuel a herring gull, for the last few years. He comes and stands by the door most of the day and has never shown any aggression. We would miss him greatly if he were to leave.
@onewing we literally had to fight off these greedy birds. Trouble is people are always tempted to feed them to see them squabble. So I guess I just added to the frenzy for the sake of a photo op.
@seattlite thankyou Gloria
@pyrrhula they certainly can become a big problem when people feed them but I really did want that shot :)
@happypat yes I reckon he could have taken my finger off Pat. In fact I think he would have taken one as I put it to my mouth if I didnt watch out!
@suklassen anything for a photo Susan
@365projectorgjenfurj they were really quite agressive.
@ilovelenses what a lovely story about Samuel. You must try and take a pic of him someday.
glad I managed go catch him in action. after I got my picture I made sure they all went away :)
