Renovations 2

this is the back of our house. Apart from the gutters we have a pergola which is falling down too. Thankfully the builder is going to repair it without us having to cut down the ornamental grape vine which gives us beautful shade in summer

thankyou all for your interest in our big project. The vines are about 25 years old and although they are a lot of work when they drop their leaves and have to be cut back, they shade the back of the house beautifully in summer. At the moment they have tiny flowers on them which have a beautiful perfume and when they fall it is like a fine green carpet (not too good for the hayfever though)
