after cleaning the roof, the now very faded tiles are being painted a lovely grey to match our new colour scheme. The second coat will be just a bit darker so that the painter can see where he's already painted.

This is not a roof type in my area so it's news to me that they can be painted. Much easier than completely redoing the whole roof when you want a change!
