when we have 3 weeks of very late nights. We have just bought a new very large telly and its fantastic for watching this great event and looking at the wonderful scenery
Such fun to take part in world events...even if you do have to stay up/get up in the middle of the night! We saw how that happens when we visited friends in Oz!
Television?? you have time to watch it?
i've not had one since 1990.. even when there was one in the house i rarely watched it.. too busy reading, walking the dogs or gardening..
Btw, nice capture of the screen..
I have never really been that dedicated to any particular sport, but I have been known to put in some extra hours for the Olympics. Enjoy your telly and all the coverage!

finding it a bit hard to stick it out till the finish every night. Its the only sport we watch on TV and then only the Tour de France. We have a Tour Down Under in January but we have never been as the weather is usually extremely hot.
@jorlam I agree with you Jorlam. I dont watch much TV and never during the day as there is always too many other things to do but we love to see the French countryside.and the Alps
This is such a nice large screen! I find it interesting that I don't watch much television anymore since I started this project. I usually post photos in the early evening and then spend the rest of the evening viewing and commenting. I don't really miss watching lots of TV...now when I watch something, it's special and I really enjoy it. :-)
