another quick stop on our way to Glasgow. We were blessed with great weather in Scotland but its been grey and showery back here in Bolton. I have been battling a wretched cold virus for a week, which seems to have taken every form possible. Hope its gone before we set of for Wales on Friday.
@onewing@gaylewood thanks for your good wishes Babs and Gayle. feeling quite a bit better but still coughing and spluttering but am told a virus can last up to 2 weeks so that means by Tuesday I should be over it?
We are staying in a huge old B and B. Lovely people, beds and breakfast but the house and huge gardens could do with a million dollors spent on them. Actually its the sort of old house you could hold a murder mystery weekend in. I will post some pictures when I get more internet access.
Lovely! Sorry to hear you were under the weather. It sounds that you were still able to enjoy the trip so that's good! I am told that my mother's side of the family (Jones) is from Wales.
