snow white berries

can anyone identify these lovely white berries. They were soft and about the size of blueberries. They were on a low bush growing over a churchyard wall.
I have seen these before somewhere but have no idea of the name of them Chris.

Albus snowberry bush Chris, I cheated & looked it up! Has another long name beginning with S in front of Albus but I couldn't remember the spelling!

Lovely shot! Snowberries are new to me so I looked them up online . . . some interesting facts - when the white berries are broken open, the fruit inside looks like fine, sparkling granular snow...the flesh is spongy and contains two 2-5 mm long, whitish stone seeds.
As you commented, it's so wonderful how we all learn so much on this site. :-)

@gaylewood thanks for the extra info Gayle. Wish I'd opened one now. Sounds very pretty

Very pretty- they remind me of Bayberries although those are a bluish gray so I know it's not these. Snowberries sound so interesting- I'd love to see that snowy inside that Gayle wrote about.
