Silent Witness

Around the area are several large oak trees dating back to when the land belonged to the Earl of Plymouth, and was originally part of Feckenham Forest.
This particular oak stands on the edge of the playground of a school for children of 4-9 years.
Generations of parents walked past, taking their children to school.
100's of children have played beneath its branches.
The school buildings have changed, from a simple 2 room school, to adapt to the needs of a school today.
Many gales have shaken the branches, rain and snow have fallen on it, and the sun and moon have shone on it.
Bird take rest in it.
If it could speak, I wonder what tales it could tell.
You're beginning to appreciate the beauty of trees!
Year in, year out throughout all the seasons, watching over the world around them, gathering snippets of lives.
Flowers maybe more showy, but their beauty is fleeting. Trees always look good :-)
