I love how churches are the focal point in many communities. This is the town centre church, St Stephen's. It is visible from many parts of the town, and often it throws you, as it is not quite where you expect. Here it suddenly appears ahead of you, when you would expect it to be further to the right. I love to hear the bells ring out on a summers evening. I have rung here - a lightly flighty eight that take some getting used to. The glass roofs of the Kingfisher shopping centre is visible just in front of the church.
I was annoyed at this car intruding into my photo, until I looked at the photo when I downloaded it from my camera, and saw the reflections of the branches. Trees take on a new and delicate beauty when the leaves have fallen.
A busy day. This morning was Christmas preparations, this afternoon I took a trip into town, and this evening a friend came to dinner, and I won 2 games of Crib :) A rare event!
