We acutally had a major snow melt today. Much of the snow remains, but a lot of it melted. I overexposed this shot on purpose for the BW photography book club. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the overexposure made this scene seem more wintry than it was. There were several spots where the brown grass showed through in this shot. However, the overexposure made these spots not noticeable. I added contrast to this image to bring out the details. I lost part of the overexposure by adding the contrast, but I liked the result any way.
@katinasmith This is a well photographed bridge in my area, because people think it is so beautiful. The local phtographers take series of shots of this bridge.
@potsbypam@jle__ Thanks! This is a bridge that is often photographed. You have to watch the camera angle and postiion though as you can get a distracting background with this bridge.
@olivetreeann@pyrrhula Thank you. I am beginning to like doing high key. I did one high key today (the 18th), but decided to post the photo with the light/dark contrasts.
