Even though roses from the florist shop are nice, roses grown in your own garden always seem to be extra nice. I always think of my parents when I see a rose from my pink rose bush. My parents had a similiar rose bush in their garden. If my father was still alive, my parents would have been celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary today. Their love survived through bad times and good times. I learned a lot about what it takes to make a good marriage from my parents. Mom and Dad, this rose is for you.
