May 29

I can hardly believe how quickly my gardens have changed during the last thirty days. On April 30th, I posted a photo of a tulip. Today, I am posting a photo of the very last type of iris to bloom in my iris garden. How quickly the flowers have changed!
Unusual iris and so beautiful!

Beautiful capture too. We usually see these beauties in color. But the b/w really shows how sort their petals are.

@deu49097 Thank you for your comment. I think this iris is unusual too. A neighbor gave me a start of this years ago. I moved a start to my current house and now I have enough iris to give a start to a friend.

@linnypinny @linnypinny @olivetreeann @la_photographic Thanks to all of you. This is a white iris with yellow details. I was surprised by how well it looks in BW.

@pyrrhula Thanks! I counted my iris and was surprised to find out that I have ten kinds! I don't have any blue iris though.
