What a nice garden surprise this week! Usually I grow caladiums from tubers, so I never get to see their blossoms. This year, I attempted to grow caladiums twice from tubers. For the third attempt, I went to the greenhouse and bought two mature looking plants. The blossoms may sway me over to buying caladium plants instead of starting plants from tubers each year.
I photographed the blossoms in three different photo shoots today. You can tell that I am not used to shooting caladium blossoms. I tried various compositions and angles. I liked this photo the best because it shows off the curves in the blossom and on the leaf.
