June 1: Poof by daisymiller

June 1: Poof

Poof! Several weeks ago, I took pictures of the blossoms in full bloom. I picked a tiny bunch of these blossoms and placed them in a vase. I kept the blossoms after they faded to see what would happen. The blossoms turned into poofy seed heads, similar to those of a dandelion.

I waited to take pictures of the seed heads until today, because I thought this would be good symbolism of the end of the fortnight BW garden challenge. The next fortnight BW challenge is water. Since I do not live near the sea, I will have to be creative.
This is lovely, well done. So good in BW. Will be joining you for the water challenge!

I would never have imagined blossom would turn out like this. It does look like a dandelion seed head. Super textures.

Great POV and the b&w is perfect for these flowers. The airiness is so apparent yet the detail is still strong. Very nice composition.

@paulaw Thanks. This whole plant has been a surprise to me. It was mislabeled at the greenhouse, so the flowers were the first surprise.
