This is the western scene in the healing garden at the hospital where I had my annual medical tests done on August 28th. I noticed thaat no one was sitting at the patio tables in the garden. A few people were sitting in the chairs at the edges of the garden. To me, my annual visit to the hospital signifies a seasonal change. I go there every year in late summer. The garden reflected this seasonal change. Most of the flowers had finished blooming and the grasses had seed heads. The garden was still a very peaceful place. Hospital workers and patients visit the garden for healing peace. The preliminary results of my medical tests were very good. Although I would like seeing the garden in all four seasons, I am glad that I do not get this opportunity. Not visiting this garden year round, means that I am healthy and not in need of medical intervention.
Great news on the health front and I have to say I love how each fortnight you really think about the themes and think of such original ideas. I do enjoy coming to look at your project.
@newbank Thank you! I sometimes struggle with the fortnight themes. They do push me to my limits at times. It is difficult to find for me to find subjects that will look well in BW and fit the theme. I am still a color photographer trying to be a BW photographer.
@pyrrhula Thanks! I prefer to go through the preventative measures at the hospital so I don't have to be a apatient there. Another test result came back today and it looks good. Good news is definitely the best.
