The red bud tree next door has an overabundance of seed pods this year. They are even weighting down the tree. As Autumn approaches, the seed pods are turning brown. When they fall off, I know I will have an overabundance of tiny red bud trees growing in the flower bed.
@denisedaly@nanm@fueast@pyrrhula Thanks! I have taken several other photos of these seed pods on different days. I watied until I had the late afternoon lighting to capture this picture. I discovered that this backlighting was what I needed to bring out the textures.
